WHERE IS CARE PROVIDED
Gilchrist Services serves the Central Maryland communities of Baltimore City and Baltimore, Carroll, Harford and Howard counties in a variety of settings:
Greater Living: Physicians and nurse practitioners provide outpatient office and inpatient care at GBMC, as well as care in more than two dozen nursing homes and assisted and independent living facilities, in retirement complexes, and at Gilchrist Services’ inpatient hospice centers in Towson, Columbia and Baltimore City.
Support Our Elders: Nurse practitioner care is provided in two office locations and, for those patients who cannot travel, in individual patient homes.
Palliative Care: Interdisciplinary care is provided inpatient at GBMC and outpatient through the GBMC cancer center.
Transitions: All care is provided in patient homes.
Gilchrist Hospice Care: Care is provided in patient homes, in the skilled nursing, assisted living facilities and retirement communities in which patients reside, in group homes, and at Gilchrist’s three inpatient centers in Towson, Columbia and Baltimore City.
Grief & Volunteer Support:
Grief Services -
Counseling and support groups are offered in Gilchrist Services’ Hunt Valley and Columbia offices and at our inpatient centers. Individual offerings may also be held in sites around the Baltimore metropolitan region.
Volunteer Support -
Gilchrist Volunteer Support offers assistance and companionship to patients/clients in our Hospice and Transitions Programs, as well as support through our Grief Services program.
