Gilchrist Grief Services is there to help families and caregivers navigate through the devastating loss and accept their “new normal,” through one-on-one sessions with experienced counselors, support groups, workshops, retreats and seminars, and celebration of life services, all offered at multiple locations. Several special events and seminars are also offered throughout the year.

Care is provided both to families of Gilchrist patients and to the community at-large. Our grief counselors are available to meet with loved ones to provide support and education as they journey through their grief, including child life support for grieving children.

Grief Services also offers bereavement volunteers who perform multiple tasks, including moderating support groups, assisting with one-day events and making telephone calls to grieving family members.Gilchrist Grief Services VisionGuiding the way to healing:  To provide support, counseling and education for families coping with the loss of a loved one.
